There is now a settings page that allows users to clear their font cache.
Appearance > Shoptimizer Help > Font cache
Clearing the cache will remove the local fonts folder located within the wp-content > fonts directory and force a re-download of the Google fonts.
That should regenerate the font files and they should now display correctly.
